CONTINGENCY-BASED COLLECTIONS

Aside from your in-house collection activity, there will always be occasions in which accounts remain unpaid. Continuing to chase these accounts may divert focus from your core business and drain precious resources.

SOLUTION:

  • We exist to offer professional, effective third party intervention. We work on a contingency basis; 100% of your accounts are worked, but only the accounts we collect are subject to the contingency fee.

  • As an important adjunct to your business, our courteous and competent collection approach is customized to preserve goodwill among your industry, customers or patients.

  • We train our staff in the precise art of "relationship management", interpersonal communication skills, and the ever-changing legal compliance issues of the collection industry.
This human side of the enterprise is supported by state-of-the-art technology and a full battery of legal remedies.

ADDITIONAL SOLUTIONS:

  • INDUSTRY TARGETED APPROACH
  • While being a common practice, the "cookie-cutter" approach to collections is not our method. We propose that the foundation for communicating with a person owing for medical services must be inherently different from collecting on unpaid purchases or services, or explaining liability for verbal or written contracts, or navigating the details of business-to-business debts.

As responsible intermediaries, we focus on your expectations and we take the time to learn your business, your documentation processes and your industry-related legalities. This tailored approach may include development of customized correspondence and singular training for the collection staff.

Lastly, we believe on being watchful and proactive in devising procedures for any issues that may surface along the way. Yes, we take it personally. Collecting accounts receivable is our core business.
  • DEDICATED AGENT START TO COMPLETION
  • Each account is individually handled by a dedicated agent for the life of the account, a vastly different method from traditional formulas based on the balance and size of your portfolio. Regardless of your business size or balance, each account receives our full attention and commitment.
  • NATIONAL CREDIT BUREAUS REPORTING AND RETRIVAL
  • After a grace period in which the consumer can pay the debt without consequence to their personal credit file, we report delinquencies to National Credit Bureaus in accordance with FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act). The obligation of the creditor and agency is to report accurate information and any changes in status.

In turn, this process promotes consumers’ accountability, and predictably may generate some disputes. Regulations require our daily monitoring of Credit Bureau's Portals to retrieve the disputes, complete required research and investigation and communicate the findings to the bureaus and/or the consumer.
  • SECURE ONLINE PORTAL FOR CLAIM PLACEMENT
  • We accept claims two ways. Through the password protected Client Portal on this website, or manually on our industry-customized Assignment Forms. As a Control Record for the number of accounts and amounts assigned, we deliver an Acknowledgement Report confirmation.
  • WEB PAYMENT PORTAL
  • Consumers always have to option to reach their dedicated live agent during business hours to discuss or clarify any matter pertaining to their account, and pay with bank/credit card at no additional fee. The convenience of a Payment Portal is provided for consumers who prefer to retain anonymity and pay online after receiving correspondence and/or contact from a collection agent.

JUDGEMENT ENFORCEMENT & LITIGATION
You filed suit and received a judgment, but the debt is still unpaid. It could be said that without expert judgment enforcement the judgment is like an expensive piece of wallpaper.

American Revenue Management maintains a legal department overseen and managed directly by our attorney. Following the initial collection activity to obtain voluntary payment, the JET (Judgment Enforcement Team) is deployed for preparation and filing of the necessary documents.

ARM advances all court, sheriff, and registered process server's fees for implementation of enforcement which may include but is not limited to:
  • WAGE GARNISHMENTS
  • WAGE ATTACHMENTS ON COMMISSION EARNINGS
  • BANK ACCOUNT ATTACHMENTS
  • JUDICIAL & REAL PROPERTY LIENS
  • TILL TAP & KEEPER ATTACHMENTS

ECONOMIC LITIGATION (LEGAL ACTION)
Since its inception in 1991, ARM has maintained a staffed legal department overseen and managed by our attorney for the purpose of filing civil law suits against uncooperative consumers and companies.

Economic litigation is predicated on many factors reviewed with each creditor to merge with their industry legalities, and for retrieval of documentation to satisfy the rules of evidence in Superior Court. Each account considered for litigation undergoes several levels of evaluation and scrutiny, and the final determination is at the discretion of ARM's attorney.

SKIPTRACING & ASSET INVESTIGATION

Simply stated, without this exacting and demanding skill teamed up with the technology of aggregate sites' information (available exclusively by subscription); a collection agency cannot truly be considered full service or promise to deliver results. This important operation of top-rated agencies considerably impacts the successful liquidation of your portfolio.

The "art of skip tracing" encompasses live-gateway searches into national database sites and old fashioned detective work. It is our policy to implement this labor-intensive process, even before the first "Notice of Assignment to Collection" is mailed; in order to increase the probability of mail delivery to a good address, and obtain up to the minute information for the agent to begin collection activity.

Finally, a comprehensive profile of the individual or business finances begins to emerge as the agent continues the investigation for potential business affiliations, place of employment, property ownership, and legal records such as judgments, evictions, property foreclosures and more.

While the information is of assistance in locating the subject and tailoring approaches and resolutions suited to the circumstances, it also provides specifics to counter attempts at circumventing payment of the obligation.

STAFF ASSISTANCE & WORKSHOPS
Our service oriented business model requires that we became educated in industry-specific collection practices. The bonus is that our accumulation of knowledge is utilized for your STAFF ASSISTANCE and the process of referral to outside collection. Not surprisingly, this cooperative effort has been known to have a positive impact on the "life-cycle" of your accounts.

We offer WORKSHOPS at client locations or in our offices. The content is designed to inform and instruct regarding industry-specific and general collection practices, and is often co-presented by legal counsel. ARM provides handouts and manuals at the workshop and your staff is encouraged to use them as a resource along with our support staff. Can we improve staff performance? Knowledge is power, cooperation is synergetic, capability and enthusiasm can be infectious! Ask us.

DATA SECURITY & ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
Data security and consumer protection are overseen by several branches of the government. The latest and most stringent regulatory agency, the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) established for banks and large companies, has trickled down to any size business handling consumers' financial information. This includes your business and your collection agency.

As a proactive measure to safeguard the agency and its clients, we take this mandate very seriously. We implement some of the best security methods and systems currently available to protect both the information you provide as well as what is developed internally.
